The Michigan Chore Coat is a classic workwear silhouette. This particular one, in the ‘Dollar Green’ colourway, is constructed in Carhartt’s hard-wearing Newcomb canvas (8.5oz), which is a lighter weight than some of the other Michigan models.
The fabric used is now created from 100% cotton – but is triple-stitched and just as robust as previous iterations. The canvas will soften with wear and take on an enviable patina, creating a lightweight jacket with a fit that is unique to you.
The Carhartt WIP Michigan Chore Coat features a top collar and a buttoned front closure, with contrast button and rivet detailing that’s drawn from a timeless workwear aesthetic. Taking its name and inspiration from its working Detroit heritage, this is a contemporary take on the brand’s original Chore Coat.
Four pockets in total: two at the chest, and two larger ones below. One of the chest pockets has a button closure, coming in handy for valuables. The jacket has a robust button closure, with subtly branded gold buttons adding some fine detailing, and at the cuffs to provide some adjustability. And of course, the classic ‘C’ label branding to top it all off.
A perfectly versatile all-rounder, unlined and ideal for layering.
Our model is 6ft tall, with a 38" chest, and wears a size Medium.
